MEDICA is the world’s largest medical trade fair for medical technology. It takes place once a year in Düsseldorf, Germany, and it is divided into different areas, such as high-tech, e-health, orthopaedic technology, and laboratory equipment and diagnostic products.
This year, from November 15th to 18th, more than 46,000 visitors from 150 countries visited the fair. UV Medico was exhibiting in the area of hygiene and disinfection, displaying UV222 for the disinfection of occupied spaces. We had the opportunity to share the working principles of Far UV-C lamps and the importance of incorporating an optical filter (Care222® by Ushio) for their use in the presence of people.
In addition to the trade fair, MEDICA offered numerous activities within different areas of expertise, including conferences and forums.
Our technology
We were delighted to share our solution and the benefits of using filtered Far UV-C for the disinfection of occupied spaces.
UV222 can be easily installed on walls and ceilings, and its operating system can be adapted to different locations thanks to an intelligent software, lidar and motion sensor.
